The Animal Welfare Act 2006

The Animal Welfare Act (AWA) places a duty of care on people who are responsible for animals - including wild animals that are undergoing rehabilitation.  

We've highlighted some things you need to think about in terms of the AWA if you're rehabilitating wild animals.
