Rehoming an animal from us

When you apply to rehome an animal from us, we'll need to share personal information such as your name, address and telephone number, to enable a home visit by one of our volunteer home-visitors.

If you rehome a cat or dog from us, then  you could be eligible for 28 days free RSPCA Pet Insurance.* For more information on 28 days free please ask your rehoming centre for an information leaflet.

* Please note, not every RSPCA rehoming centre promotes RSPCA Pet Insurance so please enquire with your local rehoming centre directly to see if it is available.

We recommend pet insurance as it can help cover the potentially high cost of veterinary treatment if your pet is injured or falls ill. For more information please visit our RSPCA Pet Insurance page.  RSPCA Pet insurance is provided by Pinnacle Insurance PLC.

Signing up for Home for Life

We will also collect and process your data, and that of a nominated family member or representative when you sign up to our Home for Life scheme. This is so that we can send you a Home for Life registration pack and administer the scheme.
