AWERB-UK Action Point Workshops
These online workshops build on the findings of the AWERB-UK Report: Strengthening AWERBs – Resource, Engagement and Recognition, which identified five priority challenges affecting the effective operation of AWERBs across the UK:
- Lack of recognition and reward for AWERB members (29th September 2026, 10:30 -12:30 BST )
- Lack of training and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for members (13th October 2026, 10:30 -12:30 BST)
- Insufficient time for all those directly and indirectly involved in AWERB activities (27th October 2026, 10:30 -12:30 BST)
- The need for greater professionalisation of the AWERB role, including clearer career development opportunities (10th November 2026, 10:30 -12:30 BST)
- Limited liaison with Research Integrity Committees and other relevant institutional bodies (24th November 2026, 10:30 -12:30 BST)
